The public is invited to attend SRACLC Board of Directors Meetings.
Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise
posted, at 1:30 p.m. at the Laschen Community Center, 294 Evergreen
Drive, Vernon Hills. You may call the SRACLC office if you would like to
receive a meeting schedule.

Parent Advisory Committee
SRACLC has formed a Parent Advisory Committee with a
purpose to voice the interests and needs of the people served by the
Association. The Committee meets with the SRACLC Recreation Manager, who
then reports to the SRACLC Superintendent and Director. You are
encouraged to report any questions, concerns, successful experiences or
ideas to those on the Committee.

“A heartfelt “thank you” to the many supporters of the
SRACLC Foundation! Take a look at what they helped us to accomplish this
year... Our inaugural Rock the Foundation event was attended by more than
600 people and that, together with our Fourth Annual Holiday Tree
Festival, generated approximately $41,000 for SRACLC! Disbursements
provided for a new sound system, fitness equipment, and a sensory
integration kit for participants with autism. We also were able to send
several kids to camp, help provide another year of programming for
Winchester House residents and subsidize Special Olympics participants
attending their 2008 summer recognition banquet. Again, I thank our donors
and those who attended our events; what great work for such a special
