Camp and School Days Off

Schools out, now what?
SRACLC Camps and School Days Off are here to enhance your child’s leisure time with exciting recreation activities. We structure our programs with high-energy group games, themed crafts, water play, field trips, and swimming. It’s a great way to practice social skills and form new friendships in a fun and safe environment.

Day Camp
Day Camps at SRACLC are geared towards children with special needs or those who have better success in smaller groups with more supervision. Counselors plan daily activities such as high-energy group games, themed crafts, water play, singing and dancing, morning field trips, and beyond. Campers will swim every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon as well as enjoy outdoor play each day.

      Program Options Include: Participants commit to two-week sessions of camp for either full day, AM only, or PM only.

      Program Time: Programming is from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

      Eligibility: Participants must be between the ages of 3-21 years.

            Jones Island Building
            243 Harvey Ave, Grayslake, IL

            Teens in Action
            Various Field Trip Locations Each Day
            Meets at Mechanics Grove Elementary in Mundelein, IL

      Transportation: Transportation is offered from Lake Zurich for PM and Teens In Action Campers to the Mundelein campsite.

School Days Off
SRACLC School Days Off and Mini Camps are geared towards children with special needs and disabilities during spring break, winter break, and other national holidays. These programs are offered to support a scheduled day to keep students in their routine. Each day is planned to have outings and high-energy group play.
